 MOMBASA CITY TOUR – MONDAYS, HALF DAY  - USD 28
A tour of the Island including visits to Fort Jesus, the Old Town and the Old Port. Call at the Akamba Handicraft the biggest wood curving industry in Kenya, markets and there is a good opportunity for souvenirs shopping.

MOMBASA AND NATURE TRAIL – MONDAY, FULL DAY – USD 45 (LUNCH NOT INCLUDED)

A morning tour of Mombasa including visits to Fort Jesus, the Old Town, the Old Harbour, call at the Akamba Handicraft biggest wood curving industry in Kenya – you still have a good opportunity for souvenir shopping. Your lunch stop will be on your way to Haller Park formally the Bamburi Quarry Nature Trail where different types of animals are seen e.g. Crocodiles, Hippos, Large Tortoise, Giraffes, Snakes and many more.  Catch up with the feeding time before driving back to the resort.

MALINDI AND GEDI RUINS – TUESDAY, FULL DAY  - USD 85

A morning drive from resort to Malindi a historic town.  On arrival a cruise in a glassbottom boat visiting one of the very best Marine Parks in Kenya (Malindi Marine Park) an area that fishing is prohibited watch the beautiful corals and the lovely coloured fish you can feed while snorkeling or by viewing through the glass.  After lunch there are visits to the Falconry, Snake Park and shopping opportunity – enroute home. Visit the ancient ruins of Gedi found in the lost city of Gedi. Return to resort in the early evening.

THE DHOW ADVENTURE (KENYA MARINELAND)–DAILY, FULL DAY  - USD 90

Experience sailing on a large coastal dhow 1000 years of tradition awaits you.  Wet or Dry morning options available Coral Reef snorkeling or ………. Visit the 600 years old Portuguese ruins, Enjoy our exotic game meat BBQ lunch then sailing again, explore the calm waterways of Mtwapa Creek let the crew entertain you with their cow hide drums, kitenge fashion show, henna art, hair braiding, rope tricks and onboard acrobatic show.  A fun filled and exciting day on the coast.
 

SUNSET CRUISE – SATURDAY ONLY, EVENING  - USD 70

Arab Dhow sailing into the calm waters of Mtwapa Creek Sunset over the African wilderness, Baobabs, Mangroves birdlife & hilltop villages.  Traditional entertainment onboard.  Masasai Warrior welcome at The Aquamarine Seaside Restaurant.  A Seafood Meze spectacular awaits, 15 exotic seafood dishes served at your table…. at  your leisure.  From Sushimi to Lobster. A tropical evening to always remember.

 

TAMARIND DHOW DINNER CRUISE – EVERYDAY – USD 75

This evening cruise is aboard the graceful dhow “Nawalikher”, which translates as “Gateway to Heaven”. You sail down Tudor Creek enjoy cocktails as a local guide points out the sights. The highlight of the evening is a four-course dinner with a choice of seafood or meat, accompanied by the dhow’s band.

WASINI ISLAND AND KISITE – DAILY, FULL DAY – USD 105

A mornings goggling in Kisite Mpunguti Marine Reserve.  All equipment is supplied but you should carry your swimsuit and good shoes.  Soft drinks and refreshments are served on board a fresh sea food lunch in a traditionally styled Arab restaurant on Wasini Island (a typical Coast Muslim Village, so swimwear should be covered to avoid embarrassment).  In the evening you transfer back to your hotel.

THE DOLPHIN EXPRESS - USD 105
Power Cruise trip to Kisite Marine Park where a variety of unforgettable marine life may be encountered including dolphins, humpback whales, turtles and whale sharks.  You normally have an opportunity to swim and spend time with the dolphins and snorkelling. Drive down to Maftah Bay for lunch. After lunch explore the “Bird” Island and the world reknown Gazi Mangrove Forest by canoe.  Transferred back to resort before sunset.

NGOMONGO VILLAGES – Daily, Half Day  - USD 23

Is a collection of 9 diverse RURAL KENYA TRIBAL HOMESTEADS, each complete with huts, cultivated crops, domestic and wild animals (like crocodiles for the El molo man) wild animal traps, charms and fetishes, tinsmiths and even a village witch doctor! Each village has tribe – specific activities for you to engage in, including archery, boating, rafting, tasting tribal foods and liquor, trekking, hook fishing, grinding and pounding maize.  After the trek through the village households, you get the “déjà vu” feeling that you have literally walked throughout rural Kenya only 1 1/2 hours.

DEEP SEA FISHING – Daily, 4 Hours - USD 270 Or 6 Hours – USD 350 or 8 Hours  - USD 440
John and Ken Rodwell have been fishing these waters for many years very successfully and have been very well recommended by their clients.

September and October are the months for good catches of Tuna and Wahoo whilst December to March is recognized as the best season for Sailfish and Marlin although Billfish is caught throughout the year.

DIVING

Our diving through Padi Dive Center with the Peponi Divers who offer daily trips to various dive sites. They provide holiday and fun dives with diving courses (International Certificate – PADI).
